SAVE THE DATE - TUESDAY JUNE 8TH AT 10.00-13.00 CET.  Risks related to climate change and disasters are not only the concern for professionals engaged with sustainable development. It is becoming more evident each year that climate change is an emerging security threat, and a field in need of multi-level risk governance. CASCADE project aimed to improve the capacity to understand, assess, and treat current and future climate change related risks on the local level, focusing on the particular in Baltic Sea Region (BSR) conditions. This event will bring forward the results and recommendations from the project.  The online event will:

  • launch the Climate Risk Preparedness Toolbox
  • discuss what can be done by countries and municipalities to better adapt to climate change and disaster risk
  • give overview of climate change adaptation related training and curriculum
  • discuss the future of climate change adaptation and resilience.
