The impact of instrumentation and measurements on human daily activities is always positively important as well as in nanotechnology issues. Nanoscale is not only a geometric problem but it is, especially, a process of reaching difficult objectives with compared to other ways. In  nanotechnology processes including design, testing and fabrication, characterization by means of measurements and/or specific instrumentation is a critical aspect.

‘Factories of the Future’ PPP Endorsed at Highest Level

On 19 April (BRUSSELS) the ‘Factories of the Future’ public-private partnership (PPP) has been endorsed at the highest level through the publication of the European Commission’s communication ‘A European Strategy for Digital Industrial Leadership within a Digital Single Market’ by Commission Vice President Ansip, Commissioner Oettinger and Commissioner Moedas.
