Another 2 Moldovan companies applied for SME Instrument grants

2005 proposals found their way to EASME on the second cut-off date of the year 2016 asking for funding under the SME Instrument Phase 1.

At the top of the list of topics ICT collects the greatest number of proposals with 467 proposals, followed by ICT solutions for health (231) low carbon energy systems (200) and climate action and environment (179).

Italian SMEs submitted the most proposals (401) followed by Spain (372) and the UK (206). These figures are based on the nationality of the project coordinator; bearing in mind that one project can include participants from several countries. The overwhelming majority of proposals (95 %) were however submitted by a single SME.

The next cut-off date for Phase 1 is 7 September 2016.
