FACE Utrecht – Entrepreneurship: Trial & Error

Date:

Fri, 27 May 2016

Address:

Utrecht - The Netherlands

Description:

During this FACE event, young entrepreneurs will be advised on how to deal with and overcome the most common fears that they face when starting up a business.

The event will consist of a panel where three entrepreneurship experts: Rafi Haladjian, José Ildefonso and Josipa Majic, will share their experiences dealing with all these fears.

Entrepreneurs agree that fear is something normal when starting up and rather than hiding it, fears should be shared, understood and overcome. In order to help with this, the European Commission launched FACE (Failure Aversion Change in Europe) Entrepreneurship, a campaign to challenge the concept of failure and to promote ICT entrepreneurship among young Europeans through the understanding and confrontation of the most common fears they face.

Based on gamification dynamics that help engage users, FACE Entrepreneurship organizes workshops, panels and networking sessions where renowned entrepreneurs share their experiences. The digital platform, which represents "the path to entrepreneurship", offers a wide range of content: more than a 100 multimedia interviews with top of the line entrepreneurs; direct tips about what investors value the most and are looking for and resources for starting up a business. And, thanks to the gamification mechanisms, registered members can win several prizes such as trips and tickets to events, devices and guided visits to consolidated startups.
