Description:

The GenPORT portal on gender and science (http://www.genderportal.eu) has been operative for a while. Our official launch will be April 2016 but it has been operative for a whole now already offering a wealth of organisations, projects, resources, events and people related to gender and science. In your function as National Contact Point for H2020 we want to draw your attention to a recent blog entry regarding resources to incorporate a gender perspective into research proposals in the societal challenges themes. We hope you find this post useful.

We also want to draw your attention to an upcoming  e-discussion on the 23-24th of February 2016 on our portal regarding the incorporation of a gender perspective into H2020 (http://goo.gl/4plqVR). More specifically, the discussion will focus on societal challenge "Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials" with invited experts in this fields giving concrete advice on the benefits and potential contributions of integrating a gender perspective into research content and methodology.

Under the following link (http://goo.gl/wpT2Xu) you'll find a detailed programme. In order to participate in the online discussion, users need only to register on http://www.genderportal.eu and  join the discussion group.
