Triple Helix Matchmaking Event on Bio-Based Economy

The “Triple Helix Conference on Bio-Based Economy” is one of the major events of the Danube-INCO.NET project.

Its main objective is to support the government-industry-academia cooperation (triple-helix model) to enhance the establishment and development of bio-based economy partnerships in the target countries on micro-regional level, tackling societal challenges in the field of food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, water research, bio-economy and bio-based energy.

Brokerage Event ‘Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy’.

The EU-funded BioHorizon project will host a Partnering Event in Brussels Sheraton Hotel on 26th November 2015 dedicated to ‘Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy’ (SC2) in Horizon 2020. Hosted in connection with the European Commission’s Open Info Day (25th November 2015), the objective of the brokerage event is to assist you in finding the right project partners for the upcoming Societal Challenge 2 calls for 2016.

Agriculture, global change and food security are closely interrelated and are of increasing concern to society. Plant production is the most important primary process to obtain biomass for use as food and feed. Efforts to understand plant production and impacts on food and feed supply under a changing environment increasingly rely on mathematical models and data to develop and improve them.
