OVERVIEW

The ERA-NET Cofund Water Works 2014 was launched in 2014 in support of the Water JPI. It is funded by the EC under Horizon 2020. 
WaterWorks2014 aims at tackling European water challenges through the development of transnational and trans-disciplinary research and innovation actions. WaterWorks2014 addresses the specific challenge of integrating the efforts and Strategic Agendas of many European Water Research and Innovation Funding Organisations. 
WaterWorks2014 will benefit researchers, policy-makers, water authorities, utility operators, industry, farmers, and citizens by developing new solutions in the water domain.

The WaterWorks 2014 Cofunded Call is now OPEN.
Scope of the WaterWorks 2014 Cofunded Call:
Proposals are invited on the topic Research and Innovation for Developing Technological Solutions and Services:
1. for Water Treatment, Reuse, Recycling and Desalination;
2. for Water Resources Management;
3. to Mitigate Impacts of Extreme Events (Floods and Droughts) at Catchment Scale.
NOTE: Each subtopic of the call is described as a bullet point in the Call Announcement, Guideline for Applicants and Guideline for Evaluators.
Who Can Apply?
This Cofunded Call is funded by 17 Funding Organisations from 15 different countries –with the European Commission participation. View the list of the countries involved
This call is for collaborative transnational research proposals. Consortium should include a minimum of 3 partners from 3 different participating countries.

Researchers from other countries can also participate at their own costs.

This is a 2-stage application process. All applications should be submitted via an Online Application System(ww2014-submission.fct.pt).
