Description:

Altered Upper Limb Neural Biomechanics Leading to Pain, Altered Sensation and Restricted Range of MovementThis webinar will focus on altered upper limb nerve bio-mechanics, also known as upper limb tension disorders, and more recently referred to as altered neural dynamics. This musculoskeletal condition can lead to arm pain that can radiate into the hand and fingers, altered sensation that can also radiate into the hand and fingers, a deep aching sensation in the arm region and movement restrictions when performing over head activities. This pathology can also play a role in tennis elbow, golfers elbow and CTS.This webinar will cover:-The peripheral neural anatomy of the upper limb and associated biomechanics.-Neural pathways and entrapment points of the upper limb.-Associated anatomy trains.-Upper limb peripheral nerve tension testing (altered neural dynamics).-Differential diagnosis of the presenting condition using clinical reasoning skills to rule in/out other possible pathologies.-A myofascial treatment plan focusing on specific regions that can entrap these peripheral nerves.-Some easy take home exercises for the client to help self manage/abolish this condition.
